Pod #495: The Yes Code w/ Carol Look

January 20, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

I spend a lot of time helping my clients to get clear about the actions they want to take. They often think their problem is not knowing exactly how to do what they want to do.

In reality, the problem isn't not knowing what to do next, it's about actually knowing what they want. If we don't know the direction in which we're heading, it's impossible to make a concrete plan.

In this week's podcast Carol Look shares with us a simple three-step process she calls The Yes Code. This process uses tapping to find emotional clarity about what we want, which then allows us to figure out what action to take next.

Pod #494: It’s OK to feel sad

January 13, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

We have all been trained to push on, to push through, and to maintain a stiff upper lip.

Sometimes that isn't possible. Sometimes there are hard things in our lives and we feel overwhelmed with sadness.

Right now there is so much going on in the world. Many of us feel disconnected, isolated, alone, anxious and overwhelmed. Some days are OK, other days not so much.

Late last week I was having one of those down days. So I gave myself permission just to be sad. To feel my emotions fully and let the tears flow.

After a good cry I did a little more tapping and recorded that tapping session, so you can tap along with me if you like.

Know you aren't alone.

Pod #493: Tapping For Peace And Calm

December 23, 2020 by Gene Monterastelli

As one of the craziest years in living memory winds down, there is a great desire to find peace, calm, and stillness. This week's podcast contains a simple tap-along process to help calm your system and gain some mental clarity.

In addition, learn how to choose which tapping point to tap on next (you will be surprised by the analogy that I use).

This will only take a few minutes to do, but it is powerful. While recording this podcast I yawned no less than 10 times.

Pod #492: How To Get The Most Out Of A Tapping Session

December 16, 2020 by Gene Monterastelli

There is no question that tapping is a valuable tool to have in your self-care tool box, but if we are not thoughtful in our approach, it is easy for us to miss out on some of the benefits of a tapping session.

If we aren't careful we can tap for thirty minutes, moving from topic to topic to topic, doing bits and bods of work here and there without ever making a big dent in any one issue.

This isn't to say that we need to know every exact detail we are going to work on when we tap in order to be successful, but I have found that if I have a clear intention for the type of tapping I am doing in a particular session, I am much more likely to get what I need out of it.

In this week’s podcast I share the five different types of tapping sessions I commonly do and how you can also use them to frame your own tapping work.

You know how to release negative emotions with tapping but do you know how to…

December 14, 2020 by Gene Monterastelli

One of my favorite things to do is to introduce someone to tapping when they are experiencing emotional distress.

The first (and most obvious) reason I love it is because they feel so much better right away.

The second reason I love it is the feeling of wonderment they feel after they realize what has happened. They are in the bliss of the moment, but at the same time are trying to process how something as silly as tapping on their body creates that type of relief.

Most of the time when we are tapping we are doing it to create relief and reduction. We are trying to relieve physical pain, quiet negative self-talk, reduce negative emotions, and remove resistance to taking action.

These are all amazing outcomes from tapping, but we can achieve even more!

One of my favorite questions to ask clients when we are tapping for an issue is "What would you like to have instead?"

This often catches my clients off guard because they are only thinking about finding relief from their discomfort, rather than what comes next.

AND if they do have a clear answer to what they would like instead, they don't know how to cultivate the feeling, resource state, or disposition.

During the December Art of Delivery Monthly I am going to teach a technique that installs new feelings and resource states.

With this technique you will be able to:

  • create peace of mind
  • gain confidence
  • feel comfortable in your own skin
  • grow your sense of self-esteem
  • believe better is possible
  • cultivate hope
  • and create any other positive state

The great part about this process is that once you know how to do it, it only takes five minutes a day to cultivate these new feelings, beliefs, and resource states.

AND I am going to teach participants a way to anchor the feeling so that you can access it at a moment's notice any time you need it.

The technique is one of my favorites and I have never taught it in any of my trainings, podcasts, or videos.

This will be the first training of the new Art of Delivery Monthly series.

Each of these trainings will follow the same 5-part structure:

  1. Topic Trainings – December’s topic will be as described above
  2. Experience and Practice – You will have the opportunity to try out this new tool in a small group setting
  3. Question and Answer – After you have tried the tool out, we will process the group’s experiences together and answer any questions that arise
  4. Ask Me Anything – You will then have a chance to ask me about anything. The questions could be related to tapping, business, or anything else
  5. Tapping Jam – We will end our time with group tapping on any issue that you want to tap for

Each training will run for approximately 90 minutes on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, December 15th at 8 PM Eastern time
  • Sunday, December 20th at 12 noon Eastern time

You can attend either or both sessions. Recordings will be available for both sessions so that you can listen again afterwards as many times as you'd like.

You can sign up for this amazing training for only $27!

The question to ask yourself is: "Is it worth $27 to be able to build the feelings of peace, calm, confidence, and self-esteem?"

I am going to be running a new training like this every month in 2021. As part of the launch of the new monthly program you can sign up for the December training plus all the training in 2021 for only $270. That means you are getting 13 months of training for the price of 10.

You can sign up for just the December training OR sign up for December PLUS all of 2021 by going here: https://tappingqanda.com/aod-monthly

I was actually a little shocked that I have never taught this technique before because it is one of my favorites. I can't wait for you to learn it and start using it to cultivate positive experiences, resources, and feelings.

If you have any questions, all you need to do is reply to this email.

I can't wait for you to join me for this training.

Gene
