Pod #504: Tapping For An Energy Boost

March 24, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

Here in North America we are just emerging from a long, dark winter and many of my clients have shared their struggles with low energy levels, particularly first thing in the morning or when they hit a wall mid-afternoon.

This week's podcast shares a simple procedure to reset your energy. As I was recording this, even though I thought my energy levels were fine, I immediately started feeling an extra boost of energy and had to stifle a number of yawns while recording.

Even if you aren't feeling low energy right now you will feel better after tapping along to this.

Pod #503: Tapping to be Fiercely Kind

March 18, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

Recently in a social media post a friend used the phrase “fiercely kind” which really stuck in my mind, although to be honest I wasn't exactly sure what it meant.

At one end of the spectrum we can be too kind-hearted for our own good, which is a kind way of saying we are being doormats to others. On the other end of the spectrum, we might think we know what is best for others and run them over with our ferocity.

Being fiercely kind falls somewhere in the middle of those two extremes where we make kindness a priority without coming across as pushy or all-knowing.

In this week's podcast I reflect more deeply on the idea of fierce kindness and tap to help make that a priority.

[Free Masterclass] 10 Lessons From Transformational Masters

March 15, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

Back in November and December I conducted interviews with 17 transformational masters that ultimately turned into the Tapping Success Academy.

Something interesting happened over the course of those interviews…

Each one was just between me and my guest. None of the guests knew what the other guests would be talking about or even who else was involved.

Nevertheless, something magical happened!

It was almost as if everyone I interviewed was attuned to what was said in the other interviews. Somehow the topics and ideas from one interview meshed gracefully with the next, like perfect little puzzle pieces working together.

Of course this didn't happen because of magic or by random coincidence. The reason the conversations fit together so neatly is because there are known fundamentals of healing and transformation that can be combined in a repeatable process.

Knowing the fundamentals allows us to use them over and over again to get more out of our tapping (and any other transformational tools we use).

After listening to close to 20 hours of interviews I was able to distill the list down to ten fundamentals about healing and transformation.

I would love to share these fundamentals with you so that you can get more out of your tapping each and every time you tap.

That's why I am offering a free zoom masterclass in which I will share:

  • The most common root cause of most issues so that you will know the easiest place to start with any issue
  • The best way to approach any issue you want to transform so that you aren't overwhelmed by too many issues all at once
  • How to know which issue to start with to facilitate rapid change in your life
  • The first, last, and best piece of tapping advice I have ever received
  • AND 6 other lessons

I am offering this free Zoom masterclass twice. You can attend on either Tuesday, March 16th at 8 PM Eastern US time or Sunday, March 21st at 12 noon Eastern US time.

(You can even attend both events if you like, but you will have to sign up for both sessions.)

The masterclass is free OR you can choose to support an amazing cause.

The masterclass itself is free BUT if you make a $7 contribution when you sign up, you will get access to the recording of the class afterwards and all of the money will go towards supporting small business owners around the world through Kiva.

When you reach the sign-up page there is a default $7 charge. If you are not in a position to make a donation and would like to attend free of charge, just update the 7 to a 0 and complete your registration.

You can sign up for either (or both) sessions here: https://lu.ma/genedavid

If you have any questions about the event, all you need to do is hit reply to this note.

I hope to see you there,

Gene

PS: A special note if you live outside North America. On March 14th North America will switch to daylight savings time, while it doesn't happen in most of the rest of the world until March 28th. This means the time zones might be slightly off what you are used to.

You can find your local time for Tuesday, March 16th here: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20210317T000000&p1=4826

And for Sunday, March 21st here: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20210321T160000&p1=4826

Pod #502: Tapping for Hitting the Wall Emotionally

March 10, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

The way that I have described the emotional toll of the last year is as if we are paying a 20% emotional tax every morning when we get up. This means that our energy is at a lower ebb, we think more slowly, and many everyday activities seem to take more effort.

As time passes this daily grind can accumulate into something bigger and more serious. It's not just a matter of moving more slowly, it's more like hitting an emotional wall.

That's exactly what happened to me in the middle of last month. I hit an emotional wall. In this week's podcast I talk about the steps I took to get past this emotional struggle and then we do some tapping to help you to do the same.

“It happened on a night like this twelve years ago…”

March 4, 2021 by Gene Monterastelli

“It happened on a night like this twelve years ago…” is the perfect way to start a ghost story.

The story I want to tell isn't a ghost story and it sounds way less exciting to say “It started on a random Tuesday afternoon while sitting at my kitchen table…” BUT that really is how it started. On a random Tuesday morning (March 3rd, 2009 to be exact) I launched the very first episode of the Tapping Q & A Podcast.

To be honest I had no idea where it was going to go. I had 10 interviews already done, I was going to share them, and then…who knows?!

Twelve years later there are over 500 episodes available in the podcast archive, which amounts to 217 hours and 16 minutes of audio.

Anniversaries like this give you the opportunity to take stock. As I have reflected over the last week I've been overwhelmed with gratitude. I am so thankful for:

  • All of the guests who freely gave their time and hearts to share their passion and expertise
  • The people who have been willing to support the podcast with a monthly contribution, even though they don't have to
  • Everyone who has taken the time to listen (even if it was just to one episode)
  • All of the amazing pieces of thoughtful feedback I have received from listeners like you
  • The recommendations from listeners for topics to cover and people to interview

Without question my life is so much better because I created the podcast.

Help me to celebrate!

Author and creative David Rees once said that “Help is only help when it is offered in the manner for which it is asked.” As a piece of life advice I think it is wonderful. In this case there are four actions you can take to help me to celebrate this anniversary.

1) Listen to a past episode – The beautiful part of a podcast about tapping is that the content is evergreen, meaning you can go back to any of the older episodes and still find value in them. You can find the entire back archive at http://TappingPodcast.com.

Pick an episode with one of the guests you love, an episode on a topic that you need to hear right now, OR just pick a random number between 1 – 501 and listen to that episode. I know there is something in those 200+ hours of audio that will be exactly right for you today.

2) Teach a friend how to listen to a podcast – At the moment less than half the population of the English speaking world (I don't know the stats beyond that) have never listened to a podcast. There are over 400,000 active podcasts and another million podcasts with past episodes available, even if they aren't currently producing new episodes.

By teaching someone about the world of podcasting you are connecting them to something that will make their day and life better.

3) Share the Tapping Q & A Podcast with a loved one or two – I end almost every episode of the show saying “Please be our ambassador and share the show with one or two loved ones. Don't spam your inbox, but if you know one or two people who would find this useful, pass it along. Even if they don't listen, the fact that you told them you are thinking of them will brighten their day.”

I believe every word of that and it goes double today. (If they don't know how to listen to a podcast see request #2.)

4) Consider supporting the podcast – I continue to be amazed by the fact that people contribute financially to the show even though they can access it free of charge. Because of these contributions I have been able to upgrade the sound quality of the show and dedicate more time to the podcast to continue to make it as good as I possibly can.

Those who support the show receive thank you gifts, as well as some unannounced bonuses. ALSO, 10% of all the support goes to Kiva in the form of loans to small business owners all over the world.

There are two ways you can support the show:

  • Ongoing support: http://tappingqanda.com/support
  • One-off support: http://tappingqanda.com/tip

Let's celebrate victories big and small

For the occasion of the 12th anniversary this week's podcast is a tap-along to help us to celebrate victories, both big and small. It is important you take time to celebrate victories of all sizes because it helps to create momentum and to be generally happier.

You can find the tap-along audio and script here: http://tappingqanda.com/501

Whether you've been with me for years or if you just started listening this week… Thank you!

Please let me know how I can continue to be helpful in your tapping journey.

Blessings,

Gene
