Over the last few years I have noticed a pattern with a number of my clients. It would play out something like this…
- Client would come to me with an issue
- We would work to find the root cause
- They would have relief for a few weeks
- The symptoms would come back
- We would do more work looking for more root cause, but would find nothing
As I researched what all these clients had in common it turned out that all of them had come to me for an issue that had been with them a long time and the actions they were taking were no longer motivated by the root cause, but had instead become a habit.
In this audio from the 2015 Spring Energy Event I show you how this phenomena happens and 5 times you can do clear the habit created by root issues after you clear the root issue.

I do so agree with you. I’ve been exploring ideas about how to work with people on changing the habits. I look forward to listening to your podcast when I ride my exercise bike today.

Dear Gene, Thank you so much for this podcast. I have been doing some of your ideas but to have the confirmation is great . I would also like it in written form since my note taking is so slow. If there is a charge for it please let me know. Thanks again for all you have done and are doing to not only promoting EFT but to help make sure that it work and people are really helped!

Great podcast. Question. Any suggestions when I the habit you (I) need to change is first thing in the morning and I am already in the habit before I remember to do something different. I like to sleep in but I have not found anything that will get me out of bed until I mentally decide to get out of bed. How do I change this habit. I am so excited about how much more I can accomplish in the morning even if it is meditation, prayer, exercise or tapping. I want this time to prepare myself for the day, not necessarily complete a “task” or responsibility. Thank you.

If the problem is at the start of the day, try tapping right before you go to bed on the issue. It might create enough space in the morning to do a little tapping there as well.
