EFT is a very powerful tool for bringing about change and can be used in many different settings. It can be done alone, with a practitioner, in groups, in short bursts, over a number of sessions, and over the telephone or Skype.
As time passes not only are studies being done to explore what EFT is effective for, but the data from these studies is also being used to uncover the best ways to use EFT.
In this interview Dawson Church and I discuss what these studies tell us about how to get the most out of EFT. (There are even a few things that I found surprising.)

Thanks Gene and Dawson,
I really appreciate the clarity of the research results that Dawson presented as well as the important reminder that EFT is most effective when it is integrated with other healing approaches and techniques. This interview will be very helpful in adding scientific substance to the presentations I give to conventional helping professionals.

My very first client was local and came to see me in person. I was learning and she was aware she was a practice client. All went well until one day we needed to work on the phone instead. After doing an exceptionally long round of EFT, I asked her thoughts and she said she felt irritated and exhausted because she was so tired from the tapping itself. She was 70 years old. Had I been observing her personally, I would have seen that. It convinced me, especially as a beginner, to watch my clients closely. It was a great lesson.

Thanks, Gene, this interview was great. Very thought provoking about the complexities of using EFT and its results. I hope many EFT practtioners can hear it.

I too found Dawson Church discussion with you and your questions to be informative. Unfortunately there were portions here and there that I didn’t understand…I believe it was portions of his manner of speech pattern. I too felt that face to face would be better…Something I have wished for for close to four years. I am going to relisten to Dawson Church again. I have been listening to you at the computer the entire day, loving (Philia) every moment.. While I’m not able to see you I do wish to ask you a couple of questions. I know that your are a very busy person…I’ll tap on this. Warmest regards damser huron
