Emotions are more than just what we feel. When we experience an emotion there are many things happening at a biochemical and cellular level. In this interview with Stacey Vornbrock we talk about what happens physically when we feel emotions, how we can become addicted to them, and how to break that addiction. By recognizing the addictive nature of some emotions we can find see our way to new ways to tap.

I’ve been using this protocol for about 8 weeks on a stress-related clenching of my jaw. Any time I get upset/anxious/stressed/goodness knows what, the muscles in my jaw just lock up. It is incredibly painful and that adds to what ever it is that contributed to it in the first place.
This protocol has really helped with releasing the addiction to tension in my jaw. I’ve got to the point where my jaw is relaxed and doesn’t hurt, and I can address the underlying causes.
As Gene says, this isn’t a five minute fix and it does take time for this protocol to kick in. But calmly and working through the whole system is very helpful and releases emotions in a safe and balanced way.

What a fabulous podcast! I never heard of this kind of addiction before but I can certainly relate to it and I plan to tap on it like Stacy says, thank you.
Thank you Gene and Stacy
