Over the last four or five years I have had a major shift in how I think about tapping. This shift is moving from the idea that tapping is an approach, to tapping being a tool.
This realization has not only changed the way I think about tapping, it has also changed the way I think about transformation as a whole.
No two rounds of tapping are the same. When I say that, I don’t just mean I change the words I am using or I change the issues I am addressing. Instead, one round of tapping might be to calm myself down in the middle of a stressful situation, and another might be me working on a childhood trauma that I am still carrying with me.
Even though I am tapping on exactly the same physical points, those two types of tapping are radically different from each other.
In this week’s podcast, I explore what it means to see tapping as a tool with many different approaches. From this understanding we look at the different types of approaches we can take when tapping. I also share one key question with you that you should ask yourself before every tapping session to get the most out of it.
