We hear it over and over again in our tapping training.
“The more specific you are with your issue, the more effective the healing will be.”
“The earlier the memory you can find related to the issue, the faster you will be able to release it.”
For the most part these statements are true, but what happens when you are dealing with something general, like low self-esteem, or you are working on an issue without any memories attached to it?
This week I talk with Gwyneth Moss who has developed a gentle technique for getting in touch with our younger selves in a way that allows us to do healing work without having to know specific memories.

Hello , Dear Gene and thank you for the great job you do to spread EFT to so many people. I just finished listening the interview with Gwyneth and I have a few questions ??
Does she speaks about asking the client to imagine itself as a child (or at the moment when the event has happened , and then ask him to now imagine the adult person ( real, or imaginary ) calming him down and reassure, that hi ( the adult ) is there to listen and help ?? I hope I put my question clearly Sorry, English is not my native language,, Any way- to me this approach looks like Matrix reimprinting- or I did not understood the explanation correctly ?? Could you please give mo more clarity , maybe a short sample will help the best?/
Thank you one more time!!
Sincerely, Dora (Bulgaria )

I like to have my clients imagine themselves as a child. This isn’t an exact picture of what they looked like when they were young, but instead just a general feeling of what we might have been like.
