Pod #91: The Most Forgotten & Most Powerful EFT Point – Gamut Point w/ Karin Davidson

August 1, 2012 By Gene Monterastelli 8 Comments

Did you know that healing from a tapping session can be spontaneously reversed?

It doesn’t happen all the time, but it happens more often than you would think.

In this interview with Karin Davidson we explore the two factors which can bring about a total and instantaneous reversal of a tapping session, and how in three minutes this can be prevented.

We discuss the gamut point, which I think is one of the most powerful, but most forgotten tapping points, and its key role in preventing spontaneous reversal of the benefits of EFT.

Gamut. I’ve had the issue of more anxiety coming back full force later similar to the stories mentioned in the podcast. I didn’t know how important the gamut was. Generally I just do the karate chop and other points.

    GAMUT.
I am a fairly new EFT practitioner, going on 4 months now. (I’ve been a psychotherapist for at least 35 years.) I wish I could absorb everything EFT by the Dr. Spock method! My trainer taught and uses the 9-Gamut, but this information goes beyond that usage. I am “on fire” about EFT, as one of my clients said to me recently. For over 15 years, I did immersive, experiential study of Virginia Satir’s Model, which is so holographic and wholistic, and after my first of two EFT trainings thus far, I said, “This is like taking the Satir Model and putting it into a speeding bullet!” So much faster than psychotherapy, even WITH the Satir Model. Many thanks for all the fantastic podcasts! I will keep listening and would be honored to win an individual session with you! I am happy to allow the Universe/God to decide!

Thank you Gene and Karin. This is very informative and useful. Not much is said about the use of the gamut point in the trainings, and for me its the first time I find a discussion of that point, although I read and follow many of the masters.
I will try it. It makes much sense, especially that I have used Sandi’s statement after tappings.
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge. Much love.

    Gene,
This was really great and ever so useful. Looking forward to utilizing it. Thank you for your commitment to quality education via your offerings. Out of all the EFT websites I have explored yours is my favorite and the only one I recommend to individuals I share EFT information with. I find you very clear, articulate, and compassionate.

Thanks that will be great to use when doing the personal peace procedure . During this year’s Tapping Summit I remember Dawson Church mentioning the importance of doing the 9 gamut with eye movements, humming and counting and one time I had an emotional crisis the only way I could get the intensity to go down and not keep coming back every couple of hours was to do the 9 gamut with eye movements. I’m not sure if it works perfectly for every different crisis but it’s worth trying since it’s pretty short and just means more tapping which that in itself is beneficial… getting stress levels down is almost always a great thing.

This episode should be filed under 9 gamut probably
