Goals are a powerful tool in helping us to move forward. They give us clear direction, they help to create clarity for our best next steps, and they serve as a measuring stick for us to evaluate the action we take.
Goals are great!
Except when they aren’t.
Sometimes goals can feel like a constraint, homework, or something we “have to do”. When this happens, they become more of a hindrance than a help.
