TapAlong: Feeling Bad For Taking Care Of Ourselves

March 12, 2012 by Gene Monterastelli

We know that we have to be healthy in order to be helpful to other people, but sometimes it can be really hard to make time to care for ourselves. We feel like we already have so much that it is hard care for ourselves.

Today we have a great little tap along to help you be OK with tapping for ourselves. (AND if there is a part of you that felt like you shouldn't do this, then it is telling you to do it now.)

This is a small thing but, I used to polish and decorate my fingernails every weekend. I used to take the time on Saturday and pick out my designs and colors, and I really enjoyed it. All of a sudden I stopped doing it, and I couldn’t figure out why. I would either chip all the polish off right away or I would just paint my nails with a clear polish. As soon as I started doing this tap along, I realized it’s because I felt guilty doing something just for myself that brought me joy and pleasure. Thank you for this session!
