Learn EFT – EFT 101: What’s the best way to learn EFT?

This article is part of the EFT 101: What is EFT? series.

There are lots of wonderful ways to learn Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).  What is important to remember is it is going to take some time.  You can learn EFT in minutes, but can take years to truly master.  The more you do it, the better you are going to get.

1) This web site has a very straightforward approach to teaching EFT.   EFT 102: How to do the basic EFT recipe takes you step by step through learning the process.

2) There are over 100 articles on EFT here at  Tapping/EFT Q & A, over 1000 articles at  emofree.com, and many EFT practitioners who have written about there experience as well.  If you can’t find the answer to your question  just ask!

One of the reasons I love EFT so much is because of the EFT community.  I have found the majority of the community loves sharing their insight.

3) The basic EFT manual from Gary is free.

4) Get the intro DVDs.  The basic training from Gary is wonderful.  Not only does he explain in great depth how to do EFT, but you see him in action working with clients on real issues.

5) Most important: DO IT!  The only way you are going to get better is if you try.

What Powers Tapping Q&A

  • Web Hosting: HostMonster (aff) A very inexpensive and reliable hosting company. I house 11 domains for under $6 a month. Great 24hr support!

  • Blog Theme: I use the ThemeFuse (aff) “LifeStyle” theme. When I switched to this theme I had lots of readers comment on how much better it looks and my web traffic improved. Max, who runs the support forum for this theme, is a rockstar!

  • Newsletter: Aweber (aff) is the gold standard when it comes to email newsletter. Easy to use, very powerful, and great phone and chat room support.

  • WordPress Ninja: I have done lots of things to tweak the wordpress theme on this site. Well…really Bryan Murdaugh has done the tweaks I wanted. If you are looking to just add something to your site or you need someone to help you start from scratch Bryan is the guy. Smart, funny, and a quick worker.

  • Content: Most of the content on this site is fueled by hot and cold beverages from local coffee shops. You can help provide Gene with some of that fuel.
