Emotions Aren’t The Enemy, BUT They Are One Of The Problems
One of the main reasons we make poor choices is because we make them based purely on emotion.
Emotions aren’t bad, they are actually really good.
But when we are acting out of fear, worry, or feeling overwhelmed we are more likely to make poor choices. Even when the fear, worry, and feeling overwhelmed have nothing to do with the choice right in front of us.
The Straw That Broke The Camel’s Back
When stress builds the smallest things become too much because we are pushed to our limit.
That one last thing that happens pushes us over the edge.
We feel completely overwhelmed.
AND we fall back into our bad habits.
Control Your Stress = Make Better Choices
The first and easiest way to start making better choices (and to stop sabotaging yourself by acting out of emotion) is to reduce your stress.
You can do just that in less than 7 minutes in the morning and in the evening.
When you start your day stress free you are far removed from the straw that will break the camel’s back.
When you release the stress at the end of the day you sleep better which means you will start tomorrow in an even better place.
