I receive questions all the time about how one can tap to change someone else. There are some very specific implementations of surrogate tapping (like the work I do with autistic children). But it is not as simple as tapping to change the choices of someone else. We can't tap to change someone else free will, but we can tap to create an environment where we give others a chance to make new and different choices. In this podcast I explain 3 ways in which we can take to help others to make different choices by working on our own emotions, make others feel loved and save, and by not bring our issues to the table.

It is difficult for us to see the people we love suffer. Often we don't consider the consequences when we rush in to help. Our need to bring peace and comfort can over riders all other thoughts and consideration. This is not always the healthiest choice for our self in the short and/or long term.

Sometimes when we choose to help we do so by taking on the burden of our loved ones. Many times we can carry these burdens for years. Often we don't even realize this is case or we have taken on these burdens when we were very very young, having no memory of choose to takes these burdens on.

When the burdens of others have been a part of our lives for so long they feel like they are a part of us and we don't realize they are something that can be released.

EFT/EvEFT is not only a powerful tool in transforming our own lives, but we can use it to care for our loved ones. This is not limited to just humans, but we can extend this love and care through tapping to our animals as well. In this episode I talk with Susanne Peach about how tapping for animals is similar and different to surrogately tapping for humans. Susan give a number of very practical tips in how you can start tapping right way for your animals.

Surrogate tapping can be one of the most confusing topics when learning Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT eveft.html). It can be difficult enough to accept that tapping on the body while tuning into physical and emotional issues can provide relief. It becomes a much more difficult leap to believe that tapping in the same way on our own body will provide relief for someone else.
