I think being selfish gets are really bad rap. Most people think that being selfish is bad. We are taught we must not be selfish, but instead we must be giving. I personally don’t believe these things are opposite.
I know I would like to have deeper loving relationships in my life, but for some reason I keep self-sabotaging. Is there a reason I might be doing this and is there a way to us tapping to deal with it?
Gary Craig and many other practitioners use the phrase “I love and accept myself” sometimes adding “deeply and completely” in their set-up phrases. I don’t know about you, but I’ve come in contact with quite a few people that have a real aversion to this statement. Seems to me, that if we loved and accepted ourselves, most of our ‘problems’ would not exist in the first place. Do we need to use this phrase while tapping?

There are times when we feel like we have messed up to the point that not only have we let ourselves down, but we have also let God down. In these times I have found Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) a very helpful tool.
I love EFT and use it a lot. It’s been very helpful with small emotional issues and simple physical pains. But when it comes to bigger issues I have a concern. I’m afraid that if I change the person I am I will hurt the people I love. Do you have any advice?
