Using EFT/Tapping for Serious Medical Issues

I have recently been diagnosed with a rodent ulcer on my chest that will need surgery…or will it? I have asked my Reiki students and colleagues to send distance healing and I wonder whether EFT may also be used? I am unsure what affirmation to use in this instance. Do you have any suggestions on phrases that I should use?

Bonus Pod #20: The Round-Up

Back in the fall I asked 10 practitioners that I admire and respect to answer 5 questions about the healing process, the healing journey, and their work with clients. The questions I asked them were:

* What lessons have you learned about healing from a client?
* What is something you have changed your mind about when it comes to healing, working with clients, or your own transformation process?
* If you were to start your own healing journey over again what would you do differently?

An Unexpected Place To Start With Physical Pain

Recently one of my clients, “Ann,” who wanted to do some Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) for her ankle, contacted me. She had been jogging in a park. Because of the way the grass had grown she did not see a large hole. She stepped into it and went down hard.

Fortunately for Ann she did not rip or break anything. However, she was in a great deal of pain and was told that she needed to be on crutches for two weeks to give the ankle a chance to heal.

Do No Harm

The Hippocratic Oath (or some oath similar to it) is taken by most medical doctors in the western world. It is believed that it is based upon an oath written by the father of western medicine Hippocrates in the 5th century BCE.

I am not a doctor and I never give any medical advice, but I think there is a lot that we as practitioners can learn from the Hippocratic Oath.

Bonus Pod #10: Reconnecting With Our Physical Bodies

While on retreat a few years ago Russ Hudson said, “We must be in touch with the mind, body, and spirit in order to be candidates for transformation.”

Because of the nature of the modern world we have lost touch with our physical bodies. Most of us are not working the land, in tune with the seasons, or using our bodies for work. Just watch someone who is on-line. It looks as if they have left their bodies.

It is very easy (and healthy) to reconnect with our physical bodies. Here is a great FREE tap along to find yourself reconnected with your body. Take a few moments at the beginning or ending of each day to tap along to this.

  • Newsletter: Aweber (aff) is the gold standard when it comes to email newsletter. Easy to use, very powerful, and great phone and chat room support.

  • Content: Most of the content on this site is fueled by hot and cold beverages from local coffee shops. You can help provide Gene with some of that fuel.
