One of the phrases I hear frequently from clients is "I don't deserve..." When we believe we don't deserve something then we are going to prevent ourselves from getting it. It doesn't matter if it is a better job, a loving relationship, or better health. If we don't feel we deserve it then we aren't going to move forward. In this reflection we look at how changing the way we understand the word "deserve" can change the way we heal.

One of the conversation I have most often around Emotional Freedom Techniques(EFT)/tapping is how do it relate to religious traditions and spiritual practice. The questions range from is it okay to tap based on my religion/belief system to can tapping help my spiritual practice. I was interviewed by TapFest host Jondi Whitis and Co-Host Lillian Fimbres on EFT Radio. Here is our complete conversation.

The first time I did it I was amazed at the information my system gave me. In this version of it Jessica of the Tapping Insiders Club ask me a few questions about the process and then you can just tap right along with it.

At the beginning of every yoga class our teacher asks us to pick a word or short phrase to use as the intention for the class. Last night the word that came to mind was "abundance". Obviously this is something my higher wisdom is wanting me to spend some time with, but I am not sure what to do with the word. Do you have any suggestions on how I could incorporate this idea into my tapping?

One of the things I find so enjoyable about my work is the type of clients I get to work with. Many of them are motivated to become, for lack of a better description, their 'higher self'. Based on their background and belief system they may use many different terms and phrases to describe this desire, but the core desire is basically the same. Many of them use the term "calling" for this, believing that there is something higher compelling them to live in this way.

Often my clients find themselves struggling because they feel they are falling short of their goal, or because they believe they don't understand what their true calling is.
