Guilty v. Regret

It is very important to spend time doing self-forgiveness work. If we do not forgive ourselves then we are never going to move forward because we are going to be an emotional prisoner to the past. When we refuse to forgive ourselves then it is like we are reliving the past moment over and over again.

There are many steps to this process, but one of the concepts I always talk to clients about is the difference between feeling guilty and regretting what happened.

Using EFT/Tapping for Serious Medical Issues

I have recently been diagnosed with a rodent ulcer on my chest that will need surgery…or will it? I have asked my Reiki students and colleagues to send distance healing and I wonder whether EFT may also be used? I am unsure what affirmation to use in this instance. Do you have any suggestions on phrases that I should use?

Reasons That Stop Us From Trying

Often we are ourselves the biggest obstacle to our success. We hold beliefs that prevent us from trying, that prevent us from recognizing the opportunities we have to move forward. “Brian” was in a situation where he wanted to move forward with his business. Pod #59: Fear of Public Speaking w/ Janet Hilts

“According to most studies, people’s number one fear is public speaking. Number two is death. Death is number two. Does that sound right? This means to the average person, if you go to a funeral, you’re better off in the casket than doing the eulogy.” Jerry Seinfeld

Fear of public speaking can effect not only large moments when we speak in front of a group of people, but also in the small moments like asking for help at a store. This is how I originally found my way to tapping. I could speak in front of 8,000 people but couldn’t ask for help in a store. In this interview I talk with Janet Hilts on how we can use Tapping/EFT for many different aspects of public speaking. We discuss how sometimes the issue isn’t the speaking itself but aspects that touch speaking. We talk about a very simple approach that you use to start tapping for your public speaking fears right away.

In the last eight weeks we have had six 30-minute sessions. We have not completely taken care of the issue, but a lot of progress has been achieved. Here are the steps that we have taken and the lessons that can be learned from our process.
