It is difficult for us to see the people we love suffer. Often we don’t consider the consequences when we rush in to help. Our need to bring peace and comfort can over riders all other thoughts and consideration. This is not always the healthiest choice for our self in the short and/or long term.

Sometimes when we choose to help we do so by taking on the burden of our loved ones. Many times we can carry these burdens for years. Often we don’t even realize this is case or we have taken on these burdens when we were very very young, having no memory of choose to takes these burdens on.

When the burdens of others have been a part of our lives for so long they feel like they are a part of us and we don’t realize they are something that can be released.

The holiday season feels like it is months and months away, but will be here before we know it. The holidays bring joy, friends and family, but they also bring too many parties with lots of yummy treats and the stress of the hectic schedule.
