Each month the Tapping Insiders Club does an “Ask The Expert” interview where they pose questions from their members to a tapping practitioner. For the month of December I was asked to field these questions. In this interview Jessica Ortner ask me questions from total tapping beginners to questions from practitioners.
One of the most common uses of tapping is weight release and craving control. In this interview Pat talks about the basic steps we need to take to be success in weight release. After giving this overview Pat talks emotional eating and then talks in very specific term about the mindless eating we do and how we can use tapping to deal with the craving eating and the habitual eat (e.g. eating every time we watch tv).
Holidays are very busy emotional times. The last 10 weeks of the year are jam packed with holidays, each with their own special meaning and traditions. Each holiday also has its own color palette. From the oranges of Halloween to the reds and greens of Christmas, these color haven’t happened by accident, but also carry the meaning of the holiday. In this podcast I talk to “The Queen of Color” Catherine Poole about what each color means emotionally and how by being aware of this we can keep our over eating and over spending in check while being open to the love and connection of the holiday.
I have a very important decision to make. When I consider one of the options I have a very strong emotional reaction. I am not sure if this is my higher-self warning me about making the choice or if it is a limiting belief that I shouldn’t heed. I am worried that I am going to tap away my higher wisdom and make a bad choice. How do I know if I should use EFT/Tapping on this issue?
Music is very powerful. It can lift our spirits and help us to feel connected to something that is larger than ourselves. The music from our past brings back particular moments and emotions and can be used to help find our way right to the core of many current issues and limiting beliefs. This can be a very powerful tool when we can’t access any memories of a past experience; we can use the music to transport us right back into that time.
Over the lifetime of this web site I have been keeping a very close tab on the most frequently asked questions and the most popular articles. Here are nine common topics, most of which are based on conversations with clients and e-mails from readers, dealing with why tapping works, what a person can expect during the healing process, and how to improve one’s tapping practice. Please keep the questions coming.
Recently I have been working with a number first time clients. Many of them are very experienced with Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) and have come to work with me because they are dealing with something that is much larger than the normal day to day issues they use tapping for.
This week in the podcast we look at two of the most common questions I receive. First, we look at how emotions like anger, frustration, jealousy, and sadness can server us. Second, we look at how to come up with the phrases to say when we are tapping and do we need to say phrases out loud when doing barrowing benefit work.
One of the characteristics of a strong emotional response is the fact that IT holds our attention to that response. This can become problematic when it comes to understanding the healing process we are going through. We do ourselves a disservice when we don’t recognize the progress we are making, and this can affect our future healing.
As humans one of the places we have the opportunity to find joy and discover who we are is through the relationships we have. Because of this we have a tendency to over think, over analyze, and over function as we try to find these relationships. Tapping can be a great tool in helping us to find our way to love relationships and helping them to thrive. In the pod we talk to Gina Parris about how to use tapping to find and grow our romantic relationships.
