I spend a great deal of time talking to my clients and writing on this site about the importance of having a disposition of gratitude. In this podcast I share a bit of the science of what is going on when we feel both gratitude and poverty. [Note: in this discussion poverty is any feeling of lack, not just not having enough money.] When we understand what is going on in the body when we feel these emotions and how these emotions effect our choices it becomes much easier to see the places we can apply tapping for healing.

In this episode we discuss how tapping affects the brain and the biochemistry of the body. It is one thing to know that it is possible for us to tap and find relief, but it something complete different to understand what is going on inside the body. When we understand what is going on in the brain and in the biochemistry of the body (and how this effects the way new cells are produced) it allows us to do two things. First, it can help us to tailor our tapping in such a fashion that we can get the most out of the tapping session because we can do it in a more effective way. Second, it helps us to understand the way the body changes so we can more clearly track our progress and maintain realistic expectations of how the healing process is going to unfold.
