In this series we examine the importance of the words we use and how changing our vocabulary can change our mind giving us opportunity for transformation.
At the beginning of every yoga class our teacher asks us to pick a word or short phrase to use as the intention for the class. Last night the word that came to mind was “abundance”. Obviously this is something my higher wisdom is wanting me to spend some time with, but I am not sure what to do with the word. Do you have any suggestions on how I could incorporate this idea into my tapping?
Over the lifetime of this web site I have been keeping a very close tab on the most frequently asked questions and the most popular articles. Here are nine common topics, most of which are based on conversations with clients and e-mails from readers, dealing with why tapping works, what a person can expect during the healing process, and how to improve one’s tapping practice. Please keep the questions coming.
In this day and age financial success seems to be on everyone’s mind. For those of us who have been doing change work we know there is much more to this than just the money in our bank account. We need to understand our own issues around money and success as well as have a clear vision of what success looks like. In this podcast EFT practitioner AnaMaria Herrera shares a few of the common mistakes people make when tapping for financial success as well as giving a number of tips on how to get to the root cause of our limiting beliefs around money.
One of the most common questions I get about tapping (EvEFT/EFT) is “What do I do when I don’t know what memories from the past are effecting my behavior or emotions today?” In this interview I talk to Rob Sherwin about a very cool protocol call Solution Focused Brief Therapy. In this protocol you don’t have to worry about why you are the way you are, but instead it focuses on how to move to what you want. Personally, I find this to be a great approach because even when I don’t know why things are the way they are I am going to know where I want to be or who I want to be. In this interview Rod lays out the basic steps of SFBT that can easily be added to any tapping routine.
Often we are ourselves the biggest obstacle to our success. We hold beliefs that prevent us from trying, that prevent us from recognizing the opportunities we have to move forward. “Brian” was in a situation where he wanted to move forward with his business. He came up with a number of brilliant ideas to move his business ahead, but when push came to shove he wouldn’t take the steps he needed to take to move forward.
I have a lot of issues that I want to use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/EvEFT) on, but I don’t know where to begin. Should I do the memories chronologically or should I do them is chunks of related issues?
I always seem to be using EFT for the things that go wrong in my life or the things I want to change. Does it do any good to tap on things that are going right and if so how would I do this?
Everywhere you turn there seems to be bad news. It’s hard to be hopeful for the future when all you hear is doom and gloom. How can I use EFT to lift my mood and make it possible to thrive in these troubled times?
I know that I can use EFT to help me get what I want in my life, but I don’t know how. Do you have any suggestions?
