There are lots of ways to tap for our physical health. Personally, I have a tapping script that is almost 2000 words long that I tap through morning and evening during the cold and flu season (especially when I am traveling and/or spending lots of time with germy students).

But it doesn't have to be that complicated. Here are three simple things you can do which will make a huge difference in keeping you healthy.

Bronnie Ware is an Australian nurse who spent several years working in palliative care, caring for patients in the last 12 weeks of their lives. She recorded their dying epiphanies in a blog called Inspiration and Chai, which gathered so much attention that she put her observations into a book called "The Top Five Regrets of the Dying".

With any thought, none of these seem very surprising. They even sound a little clichéd, but clichés are clichés for a reason.

Here are the five most reported regrets at death according to Bronnie. I have added tapping scripts for each.

Sometimes I wonder if he is over-compensating for something else by talking such a big game about himself and his success. More than likely that is just my own insecurities being projected ontohis braggadociosness.

When it comes to seeking out teachers and role models for healing, growth, and self love Donald Trump probably isn't in the first six hundred thousand names that would come to mind. Regardless what you think of "The Donald" he reminds us of some great lessons that we can learn about loving ourselves. Here are few of my favorites.

In many cases kids take to tapping much faster than adults because they are more willing to try new things and aren’t hung up on why something is working. They just want to feel better.

Here are five things to keep in mind when teaching kids to tap. (Note: All five lessons below are hard won. I know them to be true because I have done the opposite of all 5 at one point.)

There are parts of us that are still clinging to the past as if it is still happening. Many times when working with clients we find our way to working with the younger-self. Much of who we are today is informed by our younger years. BUT it is not who we are in totality and our past in not written in stone in such a way that it can never be changed.

I have found it very helpful to speak the my younger self. It is important to let it know that it is allowed to grow, change, and absorb the wisdom of my older self. This is how I tap for and with my inner child.

One of the reasons that I love EFT/tapping is because it is very effective in dealing with our critical voice. The critical voice is nothing more then that little nagging voice that is always pointing out everything we have done wrong, everything we are going to do wrong, and everything we are never going to be.

Sometimes this voice is nothing more than a simple annoyance, while other times it can be so crippling that it prevents us from getting out to bed in the morning.

Here is an easy 8 step process to transform the critical voice into a very powerful tool for change and transformation.

I know we are months past the beginning of the year. More than likely you have forgotten all your New Year's Resolutions.

The fact that January 1st is the beginning of the "New Year" is somewhat arbitrary. Really the first day of the year could have been any day, but for some reason when calendars where being created they chose January 1st. If we use the "New Year" as a tool to reflect on our life and as a chance to look ahead then it can be a very helpful thing.

So now that we are well past the craziness of the holidays and you have some time to reflect on what you thought was going to be important this year, let's try this again.

Let's make today the Re-New Year to reflect and plan action.

When we started working she described the anxiety as being present from the moment she walked in the door until she left. There were moments that she just wanted to run from the room screaming.

In the last eight weeks we have had six 30-minute sessions. We have not completely taken care of the issue, but a lot of progress has been achieved. Here are the steps that we have taken and the lessons that can be learned from our process.

The Toa Te Ching is an ancient Chinese text that is a collection of 81 short passages. As wikipedia rightly states, "The passages are ambiguous, and topics range from political advice for rulers to practical wisdom for people."

Some passages are insightful, others are profound, and still others will leave you just scratching your head in bafflement.

The topic of the Toa Te Ching came up during a client session recently. The types of issues we were tapping(EFT) on reminded me of many passages. After the session I dug out my dog-eared and tattered copy. I was amazed at how much peace it brought to tap along to the passages.

In the first three parts of this series we build upon ideas from two articles found on Jeremy Dean's PSYBlog. In this fourth part we will look at a number of other ways we can get past block and the feeling of tapping staleness.

One of the common mistakes we make when assessing a situation is making a generalizations. We say things like, "Everyone at work hates me!" or "Nothing I do is good enough for my boss!" It is obvious with a few moments of reflection that these statements aren't true. Sure, there might be one or two people at work we don't get along with, but it is not "everyone".

The problem with these types of generalizations is they move us to a place were we are responding to them as if they were true. (The words we say out loud have that much power.)

If I walk into my workplace believing that everyone hates me I am going to act in a particular way. If I walk into my workplace believing that I don't get along with Bill and Mary. I am going to act in a different way.

Often times when we are approaching transformation we look to adding new skills and resources (to do new things) or to heal past wound (that have us trapped in the past). These are great paths to pursue with our work, but they are not the only paths.

Many times we are carrying emotions, memories, or beliefs from the past that are no longer useful in the present. We also choose to carry burdens and problems for our loved ones. Letting go of these no longer useful burdens can quickly open us for healing of the issues we face in this moment.

Giving stuff a way for free can be a tricky thing to do as a practitioner. On one hand it feels like a good idea because we are exposing potential clients to our products and services. On the other hand we can worry that if we give too much away potential clients are only going to take the free things and never buy.

Giving products and services away for free is a very key part of my business and marketing plan, but it needs to be more than "give it away and hope." Every time we are giving something away for free (products, services, or our time) we need to be doing for a very specific reason. We need to be giving away for free with a plan.
